I've been debating whether or not to post this here, as it's not strictly a unixy thing, but what the hell.. I'm ethused enough to be boring enough people locally about it, so a few more isn't going to harm the world.
I'm just back in the country after spending two and a half weeks touring Eastern Europe by motorbike. It's the latest in a series of trips that I've made over the years.
It wasn't the longest, the fastest, or probably not even the most challenging (I think the Sahara desert two years ago wins that prize), but it was certainly the most entertaining. Fifteen countries and 4,135miles in 18 days. Brilliant.
